| Goodbye 12 RAC! |
It was a bittersweet move, and I cried all day long. It was ridiculous really, but I do tend to get attached to places rather easily, and having lived there officially for a year, and stayed there for nearly two, I was sad to be leaving.
It was the house in which Seán and I shared so much - our first date(ish), where he taught me to play bouzouki, the first time he cooked me dinner (chickpeas and all!), the first annual JessFestTM, and it was where we watched our first movie together (Disney's Robin Hood - Seán knew every single word - how could I not love him?).
Closing the door to 12 Red Abbey Court behind us almost always led to fun times, be it heading down the street to the Spailpín Fanach every Saturday night, or taking a road trip to Dingle each summer, heading to find geocaches near and far (and looking terribly suspicious while doing it!), or just strolling into town for a coffee, it was the place we began all of our adventures thus far.
Here's hoping closing the door this one last time will lead to our biggest adventure yet.
